Youtube Screenshot API

Take screenshot of a YouTube video at any timestamp by making a simple API call.

Here is a sampe Python snippet. Please keep reading for details.

How does it work?

Call the endpoint below with 3 required query parameters.

Endpoint: https://api.clipshot.dev/frame

• youtube_id: The ID of the YouTube video you want to take a screenshot of.
• timestamp: If you want to take a screenshot of the 1 minute and 30 second mark, you would set the timestamp to 1:30 or 90.
• key: You will receive your API key through email after subscribing.

How to obtain an API key?

After you subscribe, you will receive a licence key via gumroad to your e-mail adress. You can use that key as an API key to make requests to the API.
